Who WE Are

Grounded and Ready exists to equip believers to stand firm in their faith and engage the culture with truth and grace. We are a Christ-centered apologetics ministry committed to grounding Christians in the truth of God’s Word and preparing them to defend the faith lovingly and confidently in a skeptical world.

Jude 1:3 Dear friends, despite my eagerness to write to you about our shared salvation, I felt compelled to urge you to defend the faith that God's holy people once entrusted to us.

Why Apologetics?

  • To Defend the Faith: 1 Peter 3:15 says, “Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to live the reason for the hope that you have.” Apologetics helps believers respond thoughtfully and respectfully to questions, objections, and challenges to Christianity.

  • To Strengthen Believers—Many Christians have doubts or encounter difficult questions. Apologetics builds confidence in the gospel’s truth by showing that faith is reasonable and supported by evidence.

  • To engage the culture—Many people today are disenchanted with religion or shaped by secular, New Age, or pluralistic worldviews. Apologetics helps us connect the gospel with real-life concerns, cultural trends, and philosophical ideas.

  • To Reach the Lost—By dismantling intellectual barriers, apologetics facilitates conversations and provides seekers with compelling reasons to take the Christian message seriously.

  • To Love God with Our Minds—Jesus taught us to love God not only with our hearts and souls but also with our minds. (Matthew 22:37). Apologetics is one way we honor God by thinking deeply about truth and reality.

The Bible: Inspired, Inerrant, Infallible

The Word of God is the ultimate authority for faith, life, and truth. Scripture is not merely human opinion but divinely inspired revelation. As 2 Timothy 3:16-17 declares, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work,” God’s Word is flawless, enduring, and accurate. Psalms 119:89 says, “Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens.” Jesus affirmed the authority of Scripture when He said in Matthew 4:4, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” The Bible does not simply contain God’s Word; it is God’s Word, and it speaks with His authority, calling us to believe, obey, and be transformed. The Bible is God’s voice to us and our guide for all time and eternity, offering direction in this life and pointing us toward everlasting hope in the life to come.

The Word of God is essential to the life of the believer. Through Scripture, we know God, understand His will, and grow in our relationship with Him. Psalm 119:105 declares, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path,” guiding believers through the challenges and decisions of life. The Word not only instructs but also transforms, renewing the mind (Romans 12:2), strengthening faith (Romans 10:17), and equipping the believer for every beneficial work (2 Timothy 3:17). Jesus taught that abiding in His Word is the mark of true discipleship (John 8:31-32). Through it, we find truth, freedom, and spiritual maturity. The Bible is more than just a book for the believer; it serves as daily sustenance, divine guidance, and the dynamic voice of God, molding us into the likeness of Christ.
